 A young Mother filled with new life stands in acceptance to her fate as she is consumed.

A metaphor for human Motherhood and Motherhood of all species, and for Earth itself.

She gently supports her stomach with her Right hand (Life) and she places her Left hand over her Heart symbolizing her own death.
